SEPARATION OF VOICE AND MUSIC BY HARMONIC STRUCTURE STABILITY ANALYSIS (WedPmOR2)

Abstract : Separation of voice and music is an interesting but difficult problem. In this paper, a new method based on Harmonic Structure Stability analysis is introduced to solve this problem. First, the essential difference between voice and music signals is revealed. Then, a Average Harmonic Structure is learned and used to separate signals. Experimental results show a good performance of the proposed method.
